For the new Carlene, website we still need a lot of help, so if you are able to fill any of the positions below, please let me know!

Head Administrator (1 person): For this job, you would basically be my "right hand" guy/girl. You would be in charge of updating the video/song of the week, making sure everything on the site looks organized and neat looking, coming up with new ideas, help promote the website, monitor threads/discussions, and update the "news" section.

Administrator (2-3 people): For this job, I need dedicated Carlene Fans that know a lot about her, monitor threads/discussions, and can contribute pictures/articles/ or whatever else they can to the website.

Writer (unlimited amount of people): This job is similar to that of the Administrator except for you wouldn't have as many privileges. I would need you to create/manage threads, suggest comments/concerns to an administrator, and help promote the website.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to thank everybody that joined the June Carter Forum! We are up to 15 members right now, and that's great considering the forum isn't even 2 weeks old!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I removed the chat room schedule from the website. 99% of the time I was the only person there, so it was a waste of my time. You can use the chat room anytime you wish, but the chances of you actually being there the same time someone else is, is very slim. If you want you can contact me and set up a "chat" time, and I will do my best to accommodate you. I'm debating whether or not to set up a message forum....would this be something you're interested in? I don't want to go through all the trouble in setting one up if I'm going to be the only person using it. I set up a Poll on the front page so please tell me what you think :)

On April 4, 2008, the singer known as Becky Bowman passed away. For people who don't know who Becky was, she was an "extra Carter sister" that filled in for Helen when she was pregnant and couldn't perform. Becky was loved by many and will never be forgotten.

For the past month, I have been using the "Chat room Schedule", but nobody has been taking advantage of it. Why aren't you guys using it? It's no fun talking to myself, so please join me Thursday at 3:30pm. I usually stay in the room for about an hour, so please come....I don't bite :).

School is coming to an end so I've been really busy with projects and papers and all of that stuff, so the only thing I have been updating is the video and song of the week.

Tim Burton's, " Sweeney Todd", came out on DVD last Tuesday and it's amazing! If you haven't seen it go out and get it! Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter were amazing! I know that has nothing to do with June, but I thought I would share anyway lol. Hope everyone has a good week :)

I won't be in the chat room, for the next week or so, because I'm currently on Spring Break from school, so I'm at work every night...Sorry! The past few times I was in the chat room at the "scheduled times" nobody else showed up, so I'm sure none of you care if I'm there or not LOL. Hey guys! I still haven't had a chance to make the buddy icons for instant messenger, but don't worry I haven't forgotten about it. My spring break starts on Friday, so maybe I can work on them then. I was thinking about setting up a schedule for the Chat Room, that way you have a better chance of being able to talk to someone other than yourself. If you have any requests for days or times please let me know, and I can add them to the schedule. I'll start out with a few days and times and see how that goes, and then we can work from there.

Happy Valentines Day!

I just wanted to wish everyone a early Happy Valentines Day! Nothing exciting has happened with the site, but I bought a record on Ebay with June and John so hopefully I can extract some of the songs for all of you to listen to. I haven't heard some of the songs on the album so I'm really excited for it! I'll post some of the songs as song of the week once I get them all extracted so check back next Thursday to hear something new :)

I just wanted to let everyone know that there is a new review in the book section of the site. I just finished reading "My 33 years inside the House of Cash" by Peggy Knight, so check out the review if your interested. I haven't been able to make any June buddy icons yet, because I've been so busy with school stuff, but once I get a chance to make some I will. I'm learning how to use Adobe Flash in one of my classes, so watch out for a lot of animation :)

Hey everyone! I'm sure you all noticed by now that we have a new layout! I was getting bored from the other one, so I thought it was time to change some things around. Since blue is June's favorite color, I like to keep the general layout that color, since it is a website dedicated to her. Nothing really exciting has happened lately, but I'm going to try to make some June buddy icons for instant messenger. I don't know when I'll get a chance to do that, but I'll find the time, because I would really like to have one myself :) So far I'm the only person who has been using the Classifieds section, and that makes me sad, but its available for you if you want to use it. OK, if for some CRAZY reason you have not seen this movie, then drop everything you're doing right now
and get a copy of it! This movie was amazing! I'm so happy they casted Reese Witherspoon to play June,
because Reese actually has morals, has her life under control, and is a real nice southern lady. Joaquin
Phoenix was casted to play Johnny Cash, and Joaquin is just......freakishly hot....a little bit to hot to play
Johnny, but I didn't mind watching him! This movie would of been better if it was equally about Johnny and
June...maybe more about June...but I'm not bitter because it was a great movie. :)

The Gospel Road:
I feel really bad for rating this movie so low, because I know how much it meant to June and John, but I could
not follow this movie. I was really confused during a lot of it, and I thought it was weird how "Jesus" never
talked....it was just Johnny narrating everything. If he would of talked over June's parts I would have only
given it a half a star and been really mad, but fortunately for us she gets to talk....she even sings a song :). In
one of June's scenes, "Jesus" man handles her face, and during it June starts laughing so of course it made
me laugh along with her....he "man handled" her face for like 5 minutes...very interesting scene :).

The Apostle:
June only has a small part in this movie, but I personally think she did a great job with it. She plays Robert
Duvall's mother so they made her look a lot older than she actually was, because Duvall is only 2 years
younger than June in real life. I thought this movie was a little weird, because I don't know if some Church's
are really like that....with the preacher yelling and rambling on about different things, but if it is, thats a little
scary....I don't like to be yelled at...especially in Church.

Johnny Cash: Live in Denmark:
Whenever I watch one of Johnny Cash's concerts, I could really care less about watching him perform, so I fast
forward to the June parts. June actually makes several appearances during this concert along with her sisters
Helen and Anita and her amazing mother Maybelle! June and John sing a few songs together and June and
her sisters sing a beautiful tribute song they wrote for their mother. This is definitely a June-Friendly DVD.

Johnny Cash- Live in Ireland 1993
This was a very good concert! Not only do you get to see June and John, but you also get to see their son
John Carter and June's daughter Rosey perform! They sing a bunch of Carter Family songs such as: Daddy
sang Bass, Keep on the Sunny Side, Wabash Cannonball, and Will the Circle Be Unbroken. This is a very
June-Friendly concert!

Johnny Cash- Live from Austin Texas:
This Concert is a little bit harder to explain....first of all there are two different versions of it. In one of the
versions June makes 1 appearance and only sings one song with John. In the other version she sings two
duets with Johnny and then they are joined by her daughter Carlene, to sing "Keep on the Sunny side."
Being the geek that i am, i have both versions, and on one of the versions there is a special features section
that has more June appearances.....you can never have too much June, so that is a very good thing to have
available on a DVD.

Johnny Cash and June Carter on the Flip Wilson Show:
This was hilarious! In this episode of "The Flip Wilson Show", Johnny and June are getting a real southern
party together with square dancing and they order a big cake. Flip Wilson comes out of the cake dressed
up as a woman and its just great. I won't spoil it for you but if you want to watch it, I posted it on dailymotion
so click here to watch it.

This is Your Life- Johnny Cash:
This is really short, and you could probably watch the entire thing on dailymotion or youtube if you don't want
to buy it. June, her daughters Carlene and Rosey, her mother Maybelle, and the couple's baby boy, John
Carter, make an appearance along with some of Johnny's family members. It's really cute to watch, but
believe it or not June doesn't say anything during it.

Johnny Cash Live at Montreux 1994:
I rated this concert 2 stars because June only performs two songs and then she leaves. Guess what song
her and John sung?.......it was "Jackson" suprise suprise. Johnny is extremly sweaty during this concert
and it's really gross. I really wish that whenever June came out on stage she brought a hanky with her, so
he could have wiped himself down. John Carter is also on this concert and he sings "Will the circle be
Unbroken" with his mom and pops. I really only like a handful of Johnny's songs, "Ghost Rider" being my
favorite, and he sings that during this concert so that made me happy.

Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman: Thanksgiving:
I'm really not a Dr. Quinn Fan so my expectations going into this weren't that high. Even though this is an
extremely dumb show I watched the episodes June guest-starred on, because lets face it....June is
Amazing. Out of all the Dr. Quinn episodes I've seen with June, this one was my favorite. In this episode
that girl Charlotte from the show "Sex and the City" plays the part of a robber and tricks Quinn, the blond
guy she hangs with, June and John into thinking she was pregnant. Anyways, this was my favorite episode
because the four of them run into this shack like house with people shooting at them and all the sudden
Johnny takes out a guitar and starts singing a song....First of all...where the heck did that guitar come from
and secondly WHY did he break out in song? hahahahaha It was just really funny for me to watch....
Seriously, who would break out the guitar in a situation like this? haha only Johnny Cash.

Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman: Saving Souls:
In this episode of "Dr. Quinn" June makes her appearance as "Sister Ruth", and she busts into the church
singing and she gets everyone else to join in with her. Quinn and June get into a beef because June is
healing people with "the power of God" and Quinn only thinks medicine can heal people. At the end
everything works out and they are friends again. This episode was funny because June's character never
really even knew she was in a beef with Quinn, but the viewers knew Quinn wasn't to happy with her taking
away her customers hahha.

The Baron and the Kid:
This was actually a really interesting movie. Even though June didn't have a huge part it was still a good
movie. I liked how in the movie Johnny whipped out a wedding photo of him and June to show their "son".
I thought this movie was kind of funny, but a normal person probably wouldn't of thought it was as funny
as I did. Whenever I see June on the screen I can't help smiling or laughing....her personality just makes
me smile on the inside and out. I've seen a couple of Johnny Cash's movies and I really like them.....I don't
care much for him as a singer, but as an actor he's amazing...especially when hes involved in a fight scene
....that man has me yelling, "WATCH OUT","PUNCH HIM BACK!", "GET UP!!" haha...I watch movies
around midnight so I'm constantly waking up my family with my yelling, but they know how i get into my
movies :) .

Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman: The Most Fatal Disease:
This was actually kind of an exciting episode. June and John's characters tell Dr. Quinn that they are going
to get a divorce. June says she doesn't know what happened and that he just changed over night and
didn't want to sleep in the same room as her or even talk to her. With a little interfering on Dr. Quinn's part
she finds out that John is dying and wants to get divorced because he doesn't think June would want to stick
around, and watch him get sicker and eventually die. He makes Dr. Quinn promise not to tell June, so she
doesn't.(I personally would of told her, but would have said, "I'll tell you, but you have to promise not to tell
John I told you.") At the end of the episode John finally tells June that hes sick and is going to die soon, and
she tells him she isn't going anywhere and she meant what she said in her wedding rows about "sickness
and health". When the episode ends June and John are no longer getting a divorce and everyone is happy
again.

Little House on the Prairie: The Collection:
When I watched this episode, I was shocked to find out that for once June and John's character's weren't
religious. In this episode, June and John actually try stealing from a Reverend haha. June's character
cracked under pressure like a twig because she confessed to the Reverend what her and John were
planning to do. I don't know if it was the lighting from the DVD, but June's hair looked really dark....almost
black....haha i know that was random information but i thought you all should know. :)

The Last Days of Frank and Jesse James:
Before you watch this movie, I have to warn you, June has a very small part. She plays the mother of Frank
and Jesse James, so shes dressed up as an old lady with grey hair and tons of wrinkles. The funniest thing
about her character is that she has ONE arm! I laughed so much when I first saw it because its soooo
obvious she still has a second arm and that she's hiding it in her sleeve. Johnny (Frank) and Kris (Jesse)
did a good job with their parts, but I definitely don't like Johnny with a mustache....it's gross and uncalled for.

Johnny Cash in San Quentin:
This was hilarious! Johnny is so funny. In the beginning some guy bends over and Johnny yells "Don't bend
over, did you forget where your at?". He also tells a funny story about how he was arrested for "picking
flowers." June makes an appearance and sings "Jackson" and "Darling Companion" with John. Maybelle,
Helen, and Anita are also there and they do a great job like always. This is unlike any concert I've ever seen
because some of the inmates are interviewed and they tell you why they are in there. One guy's story was
really funny...basically he says him and this woman were about to get it on until they were interrupted by the
woman's son. The son says "what are your doing to my mom?", so the guy freaks out and strangles the
woman and the son....i don't know why he just didnt lie and say, "we're just wrestling", but whatever everyone's
got their own way of dealing with a problem.

Stagecoach:
I'm not going to lie on this one, but I was really confused with this movie. I don't understand what the whole
first 5 minutes had to do with anything. Pretty much Johnny, Willie, and Kris are in a stagecoach with a
pregnant lady, some guy with a briefcase, another lady who just doesn't care where shes going, and maybe
2 more random guys. The pregnant lady of course has her baby in a little resting station and it was funny
because the baby came out so clean and nice with a little blanket. I think they stopped at two resting stations
and at the first station guess who's there feeding everyone and making sure their comfortable??? Thats right
......JUNE! not only is June there, but John Carter is too! I didn't know John Carter was in this movie so I was
excited to seem him. On the way to their destination they have to ride through Indian territory and risk their
lives. The whole movie builds up this Indian attack and by the time it happened it lasted 2 minutes and it really
wasn't that exciting.

Barbara Mandrell and the Mandrell Sisters Show:
What I loved the most about this show is that June seemed more important than Johnny on it....she always has
been to me, but this show just enforced that. This is definitively a June-Friendly episode and I really enjoyed it.
June sings "Old time feeling" with Johnny, a little bit of "Diamonds in the Rough", she plays "Oh Susana" on a
tiny harmonica and actually sings the song, and at the end everyone sings "Will the circle be unbroken?" John Carter has a brief appearance on the show watching the other blond sister playing Pac-Man.

The Highwaymen:
I think this documentary/movie boils down to one question.....would I pay 18 dollars for it?.....the answer
is NO, check your local TV listings for it and watch it then. June IS on this DVD.....not a lot, but she
DOES make a few brief appearances, and she talks in a few of them. I don't know what she was
saying, but she was saying something. This DVD is basically about the four guys in the picture above
and you see them writing/singing a few songs and just hanging out with each other. The best part
about this special, is that each of the guys have their own little corner with stuff they like in it, and in
John's little corner he has a freaking rainbow....thats right...the man in black likes rainbows haha.

Pete Seeger's Rainbow Quest - Johnny Cash:
I first have to start off by saying that the DVD cover is completely random because it is clearly 70's
June and John and they were on this show in the sixties. If you want to see Johnny Cash high as a
kite then this is the DVD for you. Hes squirmy, really skinny, and looks awful....he even takes his
shoes off in the middle of the show. Pete Seeger thought that Maybelle was AP's daughter and Sara
was his niece or something totally wrong like that, so June had to correct him, and it turns out that
Sara is her Aunt and second cousin. June is on the show just as much as John is, but John sings a
lot of random songs and Pete Seeger talks to him more. June sings "Worried Man Blues" and
"Thinking Tonight of my Blue Eyes", and does an awesome job as usual. It was interesting to watch
this because pretty much the whole time June never takes her eyes off John, its easy to tell that she
was in love with him. If John didn't hog the spotlight for 95% of this i would of rated it higher, but he did
so thats why I only gave it 2 stars.

The Johnny Cash TV Show:
I think its great that they finally put the Johnny Cash show on DVD, but it kind of seemed like there was a lot of clips missing. This DVD comes on 2 discs, and on the first disc June only sings one song and its with a bunch of other people, and you hardly see her on the rest of the DVD. June is on the second DVD more frequently, so if your going to buy this make sure you get the second disc not the first. Another thing about this DVD i didn't like was that it wasn't really "complete episodes", it was more like clips from the show with Kris Kristofferson, Penni Lane, John Carter and some other people narrating it. I've seen clips of June on YouTube from the Johnny Cash Show, and I only saw a handful of them on this DVD set, so I'm really confused on to why that is because June is amazing! A lot of people think that every single episode is on this DVD set, but if you read the title closely it says "The best of the Johnny Cash TV Show", so it's not every episode, just the popular ones I guess. If your looking for a June friendly DVD this really isn't your best buy, so save your money because you really aren't missing anything exciting unless your a big Johnny Cash fan, because the whole thing revolves around him.

Johnny Cash: The Man, His World, His Music:
I loved this! This DVD is basically a bunch of home movies and a few concert clips from the late 60's. Johnny and June take you on a trip to Arkansas to visit his childhood home and some of his friends. Although this DVD didn't revolve around June, it was still really good, and she's in a lot of the scenes. She talks a little bit in it, but i have no idea what shes saying, my closed caption thing wasn't working. I wish they would make something like "June and Johnny A Home Movie" so we could see more what they were like at home, because that would be an awesome thing to see.

Country Music Holiday:
June did this movie in 1958, and she did an amazing job with the part she had. She played the part of some guy's girlfriend, so he was pretty much violating her the whole time, and that was kind of awkward to watch lol. It's weird for me to see her kissing a guy that isn't Johnny Cash. What I didn't like about this movie was that June never sang in it....all the other country singers sang something, but she never got a chance to. I gave this movie 2 stars because it was kind of random and there really wasn't much of a plot, but June did awesome and I'm really glad i had the opportunity to watch it.

The Adventures Of Jim Bowie:
This show is from the 50's and June guest starred in two episodes. The episodes she's in is: "The Pearls Of Talimeco" and "Country Girl." If you want to buy the entire Jim Bowie collection, its kind of expensive, but if you're like me and are just in it for the June parts, then you can watch both the episodes on YouTube (I put them up there.) June plays Jim Bowie's, brothers fiance or something. It's funny because you never see the fiance, and its basically just Jim and June going on escapades lol. I recommend this to any June fan, because its fun to see what she did before Johnny entered her life :)

Christmas is tomorrow!! I'm so excited! I'm sure you all have noticed my Christmas decor for the site by now. I love the picture i made with June and the Santa hat, lol that was fun to do. I hope everyone has a safe and fun holiday and gets everything they want for Christmas! I know I'll be really happy if i get Guitar Hero lol. I hope everyone has finished Christmas shopping because its like a mad house out there...I bought a sweater last night at Kohl's and i literally waited in a line 2 miles long...it was crazy! Hey everyone! It's almost Christmas! yay! I added two new reviews in the DVD section for "Country Music Holiday" and "Johnny Cash: The man, his world, his music." I currently have the black lung so every 5 seconds I'm coughing...just kidding i don't have the black lung, but i have been coughing for the past month....i hope i don't have pneumonia, but whatever I'll be fine lol. Anyways, I added a new section on the website under "This 'n' That" for photos of people who have pictures of themselves with anyone from the Carter/Cash crew. Our friend Alex, just recently got to meet Joanne Cash! (Johnny's sister) and shes kindly letting us use the photo of them together for our website! yay! Other than that, nothing else exciting has happened, but don't worry, I'll let you know the second something does :)

There have been a bunch of things added to the site since my last news bulletin! First off our friend Jenny made a June desktop background for us to use and its awesome! We are up to 3 backgrounds now and more are on its way! Jenny and our friend Alex, have also gotten some new autographs, so check the autograph section out! I just got the Johnny Cash show on DVD and I was skimming through it and saw a couple of June/Carter Family performances I haven't seen before so as soon as I get a chance to watch it, I'll post some clips under my account on YouTube. I hope everyone has a good and safe Thanksgiving!

I finally made some desktop backgrounds for you all to use! You can see them by clicking here. You have the choice between a background with just June, or one with June and John. I'll make more later on, so you guys have more of a variety to pick from. I also added a new autographed picture in the Carter Sisters section, so if you haven't already seen it, go check it out because its AMAZING. The only other thing I added was a computer generated image that I created in one of my art classes, and its in the Artwork section. It's really not that cool of a thing, but I had nothing else to do with it :)

Not much has changed since my last news update, but I did make a new "June Carter Cash" logo for the main page, above the June collage. My next project for the site is to design some June desktop backgrounds and maybe eventually some screen savers! Hopefully I can have some backgrounds designed in a few weeks, so keep checkin' back for them. :)

There have been a few little cosmetic changes to the site to make it look at little prettier, but I'm sure none of you will notice lol. It's hard maintaining a website when you can't use Java, Javascript, CSS, or HTML to code it......Wetpaint won't let you use any of that :(. I have been working on the autograph section of the page and I figured it would be easier to view them if they were more organized, so I grouped them by person and gave them each their own page. I also added a new review to the site for Peggy Knight's book, At Home with Johnny, June and Mother Maybelle: Snapshots from My Life with the Cash and Carter Families. Well, I think thats about it, enjoy!

Hey guys, there have been a couple of updates made to the site recently. There is a handwritten four page letter that June wrote in 1979 about a dream she had, an article from Country Weekly, and another little article about June's antique lace. In the Country Weekly article it implies Carl Smith is the father of Carlene and Rosey, and it says that Johnny Cash was her second husband. For some reason the media always gets everything mixed up....even the official June Carter website! The funny thing about that is that, the official June site is a CASH production, so it confuses me on how they would have incorrect information....oh well :)

This is my first news update for the site so bear with me lol. As far as the site goes, the video and song of the week are being updated as usual and I also changed the content of the Carter Family page. I have also posted a review for June's CD, "Ring of Fire." As you all know by now Vivian's book is out to the public and causing a lot of tension among us fellow June fans. Vivian deserves to tell her side of the story, and although its not very June-friendly, she still has the right to share it with whoever it is she wants. If you don't like the book, then return it and get something else.

Also, Vivian Liberto's books comes out today. I was lucky enough to read an advance copy. Just as a forewarning, it isn't very June-friendly. Some insinuations are a bit ridiculous, but I wasn't really expecting anything good to be said about June Carter anyways. That aside, it was interesting to read Johnny's letters and to hear Vivian's take on his early career.

And in other breaking news you will be seeing less and less of me in the coming months. Not because I don't care. I am starting an internship program with my church and it will basically consume my life for the next nine months. I am leaving Katie in charge. Don't worry, guys, she knows what she's doing and is fully capable (let's face it, I've been taking credit for her work from the beginning, lol). I'll stop in from time to time, but from now on she's in charge.

Hello, everyone! Ok, so the news section was getting a bit overcrowded so we now have an archive for Old News.

And in horribly late news (sorry!) JohnnyCash.com has started a new online radio program. New episodes are put up every Wednesday, but archival shows will be kept for playback. This started about a week and a half ago. The first show was very excellent and featured an interview with John Carter Cash talking about his mom and the book he wrote Anchored In Love: The Life and Legacy of June Carter Cash

Among My Klediments:
This was June's very first book and i really enjoyed reading it. It's an autobiography and she basically
talked about everything except for her two previous husbands Carl Smith and Rip Nix. I think she gave
them both about a sentence, and never said why she divorced either one. June was an amazing writer
and she definitely had a lot of interesting stories to share with us. If you're a June fan then you should
definitely read it....most public libraries have it in stock, so if you don't want to buy it check your local
library first.

From the Heart:
This book was AMAZING! When I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down, and I finished it the first
day i got it. Reading isn't one of my favorite things to do, so for me to not be able to put a book down, then
you know it's got to be great. It wasn't another autobiography because she already wrote one in
Among my Klediments, so this book gave her the freedom to write about anything she wanted to. She
shares a lot of funny stories, such as "dog hair", and a camping trip she took with Johnny, and her son John Carter..basically June tells you shes not an outdoorsy sort of gal. She also goes into detail about a very
terrifying break in on Christmas day at their home in Jamaica.....I seriously wanted to get on a plane to
Jamaica and fight somebody...I'm still very bitter about that incident in case you couldn't tell.

Anchored In Love: An Intimate Portrait of June Carter Cash:
I loved the pictures in this book! This book tells a lot of the same stories June did in her books, and you really don't learn anything new about her, but it's still a good book to read. John Carter basically sums up his childhood for you, and it turns out that John and June aren't that perfect couple like it implies in the movie "Walk the Line", but what couple is? Unlike June's books, we actually got more information regarding June's two previous marriages. June's marriage to Rip Nix is beyond confusing...apparently they never fought so I don't understand why their marriage couldn't work....I think there's more to it then just "she was in love with Johnny Cash", but what do I know? John Carter also talks about June's daughter Rosey, and how she gave June a hard time and had problems with drugs and everything. I got the impression that Rosey was the "problem child." What I didn't like about this book was how John Carter went into details about June's death....it was just to much information, and I really don't like to be reminded that shes dead, its to sad.

Mother Maybelle's Cookbook:
If you can get yourself a copy of this book then you will be very happy you did. Being a Yankee, i had no idea
what a lot of the food she was making was and i didn't like any of the meals June put in this book (I'm very
picky and I don't like to try new things.) This is more then just a cook book, it has stories and pictures too.
The dessert section definitely has potential so I'll definitely try to make something from there......there's a
recipe for "monster cookies", that sound really good so thats probably what I'm going to attempt first.

At Home with Johnny, June and Mother Maybelle: Snapshots from My Life with the Cash and Carter Families

This Book, has the best pictures you will ever see of June, John, and their family. Each picture had a description to go along with it, and it really was a nice thing to see. This isn't really a "book", its more like a scrapbook. The book is 96 pages and its packed with pictures. My favorite pictures in this book are the ones of June and John in those Bob Marley Jamaican hats with the brown dreads coming from it....it was really funny :) .

My 33 Years Inside the House of Cash:
This book was amazing!! Peggy Knight shared so many things about her good friends June and Johnny Cash. She worked with the Carter/Cash gang for 33 years, and had a lot of information in her books that other books don't have. She shared their favorite restaurants, hobbies, who their friends were, and most importantly, what they were like in real life. After reading this book, i can now say that i know Johnny Cash didn't wear black underwear...because he never wore any lol. This book is full of great stories and information and I recommend it to any fan of the Carter/Cash's.

Early June:
The music on this CD was so cute! You get to listen to little Helen, June and Anita! This CD contains 34 great
songs from June and her sisters and I really enjoyed listening to it. I gave this album 2 stars because a lot of
the songs weren't really ones I could "jam" to while driving. I listen to all my CD's when I'm on the road and this
one just didn't get me pumped! It's a great CD though and I recommend it to any June fan.

Live Recordings from the Louisiana Hayride:
This CD was hilarious! June was a very funny person and a lot of that shows from listening to this album. She
sings a couple of Carter Family songs and sings "It ain't me babe" with her husband Johnny Cash. June talks
a lot on this CD so it's not really a CD i like to listen to while driving, but i like it because it can make me laugh
no matter how many times I listen to it.

Press On:
This was a very good CD and I really enjoyed listening to it. A lot of the songs on this CD are "jam-able" and
It's definitely a good CD to listen to while driving. June talks a little bit between songs and I really enjoyed
that because it felt like she was trying to include her listeners in her life so we could get a better perspective
on her songs. She sings a couple of Carter Family songs along with my two personal favorite songs, "Tall lover
man", and "Gatsby's Restaurant." June released this album in 1999 and even though she was old she did an
AMAZING job and I couldn't be more proud of her.

Wildwood Flower:
This isn't one of my favorite June CD's, but its worth every penny for the song "Temptation" where she teams
up with husband Johnny Cash. It's a really funny song, and I could probably listen to it all day. There's a lot of
Carter Family songs that she sings, including my personal favorite "Keep on the Sunny side." Don't get me
wrong, this isn't a bad CD, but I don't think its one of her best....the album cover looks like a tattoo someone would get, and I really don't like how shes a cartoon, and I don't understand why shes in a pile of ugly flowers.

Keep on the Sunny Side- Her Life in Music:
I LOVED this CD! It's a two disc set and has a large variety of June's music. Disc one contains a lot of her
songs that she recorded when she was younger including a duet with first husband Carl Smith, and Disc 2
is more of a "middle aged June", and has a few songs she recorded with husband Johnny Cash. It's an
amazing CD, 100% Jam-able, and I highly recommend it to any fan. This is a must have so if you don't
already have it, click the link and buy it ASAP!

Carryin' On with Johnny Cash and June Carter:
This is my favorite Johnny Cash and June Carter Duet CD. There are a lot of catchy songs, and a lot of songs
I haven't heard before. Sure, we've all heard "Jackson", but how about "Oh, what a good thing we had"? I
don't know about the rest of you, but I personally can't listen to them sing "Jackson" anymore because I've
literally heard it a million times. "Jackson" is on this CD, but it's probably on all of their Duet CD's. This album
actually came out before June and John were married so it makes it more entertaining to listen to, especially

Johnny Cash and June Carter: 16 Biggest Hits:
This is a very good duet CD and I enjoyed it a lot. This CD basically consists of their most popular songs. I
didn't rate this 4 stars because I actually enjoy listening to the songs that weren't as popular, but if you're into
their biggest hits then you will definitely enjoy this CD. This is a good CD to listen to while driving because
its very up-beat, and when the song "No need to worry" comes on, it pumps me up and makes me wanna
dance, which really isn't a safe thing when driving but whatever!

Chet Atkins with the Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle 1949:
This CD has 38 songs on it, so you definitely get your money's worth if you buy it. I just recently listened to this
CD during a four hour drive, and it didn't really help me stay awake, and I think a lot of that has to do with
Anita. Anita is one of the best singers I've ever heard...her voice is perfect and flawless and made me feel a
little bit to relaxed, and thats never a good thing when you're driving. When I was listening to her sing, It made
me wish I had a mother that sang me to sleep when I was little....her kids were wicked lucky thats for sure,
because I would have fallen asleep instantly. I didn't really care much for the Chet Atkins guitar solo's either
....not because I don't think hes good, it's just wordless music doesn't entertain me.

Carter Sisters With Mother Maybelle with Chet Atkins:
This CD is very similar to the CD listed above, but with different songs. This CD has 40 tracks......its amazing
how many songs they can squeeze onto a CD. June talks a little bit between songs, but I have no idea what
she is saying. She talks really fast with that southern accent of hers....so I can only pick out a few words. Like
the previous CD, its not really "Jam-able",but it's still good stuff to listen to, if you're interested in June's early
career.

Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle With Chet Atkins:
Out of all the Carter Sisters/Mother Maybelle/Chet Atkins CD's I've listened to, this one was my favorite.
People were definitely starring at me weird when I drove by them listening to this, because I got really
into it.....especially when they sang, "The Dude Cowboy", and "Reuben." Those songs are amazing!
June talks between some songs in this CD too, but she doesn't say much so I didn't have to worry about
decoding her English. Like the previous two CD's you definitely get your money's worth because they
squeezed 39 songs onto it.

Early Chet Atkins:
Don't let the title of the CD fool you because June, her lovely sisters, and amazing mother are also all over
this CD! This CD is totally worth it just for June's version of "Its my Lazy Day." I've heard her sing this song
before, but on this CD she sings it so perfectly...I almost didn't recognize her! As far as "jam-able" this CD
doesn't make the cut, but i like it because it makes you feel like you went back in time to the 40s-50's and
are listening to the radio because this CD, along with the other Carter sisters, mother Maybelle, and Chet
Atkins CD's consist of recordings from back then when they had their little radio gig. Like those other
CD's, you get your moneys worth because there are 32 songs on this CD!

Gospel Gold:
The best part of this CD is that it's only seven bucks! I think this CD is from the 80's and it has the Carter
sisters, June, and some random guy singing on it. June isn't in a lot of the songs, but she is in a few of them.
This CD has a couple of cool songs on it, such as "Baby Ride Easy"(with Anita and some random guy) and
of course some of the most popular Carter Family songs such as "Will the Circle Be Unbroken", "Wildwood
Flower", and "It Takes a Worried Man." This CD was OKAY.....not my favorite but it wasn't horrible.

The Carter Family: Together Again:
This CD is awesome! Helen, June and Anita Rock! The only thing i think that could of made this CD better is
if we actually heard June's voice more....It really doesn't even seem like shes on this CD, but the album
information says she is, but I can really only hear Helen and Anita. Another thing I didn't really like is the album cover....its stupid and it makes the CD look like its going to be boring. The songs on the CD are great! I think
it is really amazing how the three of them managed to stay true to their roots and embrace the music of their
mother, aunt, and uncle. The three of them truly loved this music and they did everything in their power for the
legacy of the Carter Family to be remembered. If you enjoy the music of The Carter Family then you will really
enjoy this CD.

Carter Sisters and Mother Maybelle with Chet Atkins:
This is another CD of the Carter's and Chet Atkins' radio shows. What I like the best about these CD's are
that you really get your money's worth because there are so many songs on the CD. These CD's are great
to listen to if you're curious about June's early career. She really is an amazing artist and comedienne.
Helen actually has a solo on this CD and I don't think I've ever heard her sing by herself before. Before
Helen's song June kind of gave the impression that Helen didn't like singing alone because she said they
all had to persuade her to do it....either way Helen did a great job. I know this is kind of a lame song but i
really liked their version of "Skip To My Lou", it was just really fun to listen to.

Carter Sisters & Mother Maybelle:
I LOVE the song "Down on my Knees".....now that song is something I can Jam to! This CD is similar to the
ones with Chet Atkins, but it's not radio programs, its just like a regular CD with music....nobody talks or
anything. Chet Atkins is in some of the songs, but not many that I could tell. There are twenty-seven songs on
this CD so it's a good buy. It's amazing that these songs are over fifty years old. Listening to this stuff makes
me feel like a little old lady, but what can I do? I like it! haha

The Unbroken Circle: The Musical Heritage of the Carter Family:
This CD was really good. I didn't think I would like it but I really enjoyed it. This CD has 15 Carter Family
songs on it sung by different musicians. Rosanne Cash, Willie Nelson, and Sheryl Crow are just a few
of the people who sing on this CD. My favorite song on this CD is: "Will my mother know me there" sung
by Ricky Skaggs. Out of the 15 songs on this CD, June sings the song, "Hold Fast to the Right", and
Johnny sings "Engine 143." This is a good buy, if you like The Carter Family.

Ring of Fire: The Best of June Carter Cash:
Even though I've heard most of the songs on this CD before, I still very much enjoyed it. There are three previously unreleased songs on the CD, so that alone was exciting to hear. The songs are " Don't forget this song", "Cuban Soldier", and "The Heel." You may be thinking to yourself, "I've heard her sing those songs before", but on this version, she's older and they sound different, especially the song "The Heel." Her version of that song was previously recorded when she was younger, and was very fast, but on this version it's a little slower and the music is a little bit different. Another bonus to this CD is that its ENHANCED, which means if you put it in your computer you get a interactive menu, and you get to see a "music video" for "Keep on the Sunny Side."

It's All in the Family:
This CD has a lot of great songs on it......28 to be exact! The first 11 songs are solo's done by June, and then the rest are songs from Johnny, and I think 2 or 3 of them are duets. My favorite part about this CD was that "Jackson" was NOT on it...I couldn't believe it LOL! I think John, looks like an Indian on the CD cover, but it's a cute picture of them both. I think its funny how they are wearing a similar outfit....like twins lol.

Duets:
This CD is literally the same thing as the CD listed above called "Johnny Cash & June Carter 16 biggest hits." Some of the songs are in a different order, but other than that its the same exact songs....Both CD's came out in the same year, so thats a little weird, but its probably because the "Duets" CD is an import....who knows lol. I like the album cover to this CD better, its a really nice picture of June and John :) .
